ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how well people with chronic lung diseases, like asthma or COPD, understand the effects of climate change, air pollution, and extreme weather, such as heat waves, on their health and daily activities. The researchers want to learn more about how these factors might affect patients' physical activity levels and their feelings of anxiety and depression. They will provide participants with some information on these topics and ask for their feedback to better understand their experiences and perspectives.
To participate in this study, individuals need to be at least 18 years old, have a chronic lung disease, and be referred to a specific rehabilitation program. Participants should also be clinically stable and have a smartphone that can track their steps. Those with recent medical changes or severe health issues that could interfere with the study will not be eligible. If you join, you can expect to learn about important health topics while sharing your thoughts and experiences, helping researchers improve patient care.
