ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new approach to rehabilitation for people with work-related injuries or conditions, specifically focusing on exercises that are tailored to their job needs. Researchers are observing two groups of patients: one group starts a three-week rehabilitation program focused on work-specific exercises right away, while the other first goes through a three-week medical rehabilitation program before transitioning into a four-week work-specific program. The goal is to see how these different rehabilitation paths affect patients' ability to work and their overall employment situation.
To participate in this study, patients must be regular attendees at the rehabilitation center in Bad Hofgastein and have a musculoskeletal condition, meaning they have issues with their muscles, bones, or joints. They should be motivated to return to work and agree to participate in the study. Throughout the rehabilitation process, patients will fill out questionnaires at the beginning and end of their stay, and follow-up assessments will take place six and twelve months later. This study aims to help improve rehabilitation methods and understand how they can better support people in returning to work.
