ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a tool called the Perinatal Assessment of Paternal Affectivity (PAPA), which is designed to help identify mental health issues in fathers during the time around childbirth. Just like mothers, fathers can experience stress, anxiety, and depression during this important transition to parenthood, but their symptoms may be different. The goal of this study is to adapt the PAPA questionnaire into French and ensure it effectively screens for these issues in fathers.
To participate in this trial, couples must include a woman and her male partner, both at least 18 years old, and they need to understand, speak, and read French. Participants will fill out the PAPA questionnaire, which is designed to be simple and straightforward. By taking part, they will help researchers create a valuable tool that can support fathers' mental health during the pre- and postnatal periods, ultimately improving care for families in France.
