ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of a special training method called motor imagery in helping football players recover after surgery for anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries. Participants who have had ACL surgery at Bursa Çekirge State Hospital and meet certain criteria may be eligible to join. To qualify, individuals should not have prior experience with this type of training, must not have any vision, hearing, or speech issues that could interfere with the study, and should be willing to participate voluntarily.
Those who join the trial will be divided into two groups. One group will receive standard physical therapy along with motor imagery training, which involves imagining themselves performing movements to help with recovery. The other group will receive only standard physical therapy. Over six weeks, researchers will evaluate participants' knee function, reaction time, and other factors related to their recovery. This study aims to see if adding motor imagery training can improve rehabilitation outcomes for those recovering from ACL surgery.
