ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how "smart pillows" can improve sleep quality for people who snore or have obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), as well as their sleep partners. The study aims to find out if better sleep can help reduce feelings of depression, increase physical activity, and improve heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and mental abilities.
To participate, you need to be 50 years or older if you have snoring or OSA, and you can be either using a treatment for these issues or not. You also need to have a smartphone or smart device that meets specific requirements. If you’re a sleep partner, you should be at least 18 years old and share a sleeping space with someone who snores or has OSA at least four times a week. Participants will not need to stop any current treatments for their condition. If you join the study, you can expect to use the smart pillow and help researchers learn more about its effects on sleep and overall health.
