ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how neck muscles behave during a specific endurance test, particularly looking at differences between people with chronic neck pain and those without any neck issues. Researchers will use advanced imaging technology to see how well the neck can support the head and how muscles react during this test. The goal is to understand the connection between muscle activity and neck strength, which could help improve treatments for neck pain.
To take part in this study, you should be between the ages of 18 and 75 and meet certain criteria: if you have neck pain, your disability score should be above 8 out of 50, and your pain level should be less than 7 out of 10. If you do not have any neck pain, your score should be below 4 out of 50, and you should not have needed any medical treatment for neck pain in the past year. Participants will undergo some tests but will not be actively recruited just yet, as the study is still in the planning phase. This research could provide valuable insights into the causes of neck pain and how to better manage it in the future.
