ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the use of a smartphone app that harnesses artificial intelligence (AI) to help people with Type 2 diabetes (T2D) become more active. The goal is to see if AI-generated coaching prompts can encourage individuals to increase their daily step count by at least 500 steps, which may help improve their blood sugar levels and overall health. The trial will involve around 1,000 adults across the country who are diagnosed with T2D and can walk. Participants will be part of the study for 24 weeks, during which they will receive support through the app to help them stay active.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be at least 18 years old, have a clinical diagnosis of Type 2 diabetes, and be able to read and understand English. If you join the study, you can expect to receive personalized encouragement to help you increase your physical activity, which could lead to better management of your diabetes. This trial is still in the planning stages and has not yet started recruiting participants.
