ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is exploring the use of video calls during emergency situations. Currently, emergency dispatchers only receive verbal information when someone calls for help, but many first responders have smartphones that could allow for video calls. This trial aims to see if video calls can give dispatchers more information to better manage emergencies and how these video calls compare to traditional audio calls in terms of call duration and user experience.

To participate in this trial, you need to be between 18 and 70 years old, speak German, and use a smartphone. The study will involve training 20 emergency dispatchers on how to use the video call system, after which they will practice handling simulated emergency calls. These scenarios will include situations like a person having a seizure or suffering from a minor injury. If you are eligible and join the study, you will help researchers understand how video emergency calls can improve communication during critical situations.
