ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on helping parents understand how to manage fever in their young children. Fever is a common reason for visits to the emergency room, especially for kids aged one to five. Many parents feel anxious and may not have the correct information about how to handle fever, which can lead to unnecessary stress and difficulties in caring for their child. This study aims to see if providing education to parents in the emergency room can reduce their anxiety and improve how they manage their child's fever.
To participate in the trial, parents must have a child between the ages of one and five who is being seen in the emergency room for fever. They should be able to read and speak Turkish and have no serious health issues themselves or with their child, such as chronic diseases or a history of seizures related to fever. Parents who take part can expect to receive helpful information that may ease their worries and guide them in caring for their child during a fever. This study is currently recruiting participants, and it's a great opportunity for parents to learn more about fever management.
