ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how effective teledentistry—using technology to diagnose dental issues from a distance—can be in finding cavities in children compared to traditional in-person dental exams. The study will involve Egyptian children aged 4 to 12 who are experiencing dental problems, such as tooth decay, with or without pain. The goal is to see if teledentistry can accurately identify these issues and determine the treatment needed.
To participate in this trial, children must be between 4 and 12 years old and have a dental complaint related to cavities. However, children with certain health conditions that could affect their dental treatment or those who do not wish to participate will not be included. If eligible, participants can expect to engage in a study that explores a modern approach to dental care, which may help shape future dental practices. This trial is currently not recruiting participants, so it’s something to keep in mind if you or your family are interested in teledentistry.
