ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is exploring a new program called Problem Management plus Mindfulness-informed Legal Education (PM+MiLE) to help women in Nigeria who have experienced gender-based violence. The goal is to see if this program can provide better support for these women, improve their mental health, and enhance their parenting skills. By addressing issues like depression, anxiety, and trauma, the trial aims to help not only the mothers but also their children, ultimately promoting healthier family dynamics and reducing the risk of future problems.

To participate in the trial, women must be at least 18 years old, be living in specific areas of Nigeria (like Delta, Jos, or Lagos State), and have children or caregiving responsibilities for children. They should also be able to give their permission to join the study. Participants will receive information about their legal rights and learn mindfulness techniques to manage stress and improve their well-being. The trial is not yet recruiting, but it hopes to offer valuable resources to women facing these challenges in the future.
