ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of shoulder and neck mobilization techniques on patients with Subacromial Impingement Syndrome, a condition that causes pain and discomfort in the shoulder area. The trial is taking place at Tavşanlı State Hospital, where patients diagnosed with this condition will be randomly assigned to different treatment groups. Some will receive standard care like hot packs and exercises, while others will also get additional shoulder or neck mobilization treatments. The goal is to see how these different approaches help reduce pain and improve shoulder function over a three-week period.
To be eligible for this trial, participants need to be over 18 years old and have been experiencing shoulder pain for at least three months, with pain levels rated at 4 or higher on a scale from 0 to 10. It's also important that they haven’t had any treatment for shoulder problems in the last six months. However, individuals with certain conditions like previous shoulder surgery, specific shoulder injuries, or neurological issues cannot participate. Throughout the study, participants will have their pain and shoulder function measured before and after the treatment to assess the effectiveness of the different approaches. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and anyone interested should consult with their healthcare provider for more information.
