ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating the different types of wheezing in preschool children who visit Sohag University Hospital. Wheezing is a common breathing problem in young kids, and it can have various causes. The goal of the study is to better understand these causes and how they affect treatment. The researchers want to learn more about the sounds that parents describe as wheezing, since not all wheezing indicates the same issue. This is important because children with different types of wheezing may need different kinds of care.
To participate in this study, children must be between one and five years old and have a history of recurrent wheezing. Unfortunately, children younger than one year or older than five years, as well as those with other serious chest conditions, cannot take part. If enrolled, families can expect to work closely with the medical team to help identify the type of wheezing their child has, which will ultimately help in finding the best treatment options.
