ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying the use of 3D digital surgery techniques in treating various bone and joint conditions, such as hip arthritis and spinal injuries. The researchers want to find out if using 3D technology, along with personalized surgical tools, can improve surgical outcomes and reduce complications compared to traditional 2D imaging methods. They believe that 3D planning could make surgeries faster, safer, and more effective, which is why they are examining its cost-effectiveness and overall benefits.

To participate in this study, patients aged between 65 and 74 or 29 and 219 who need specific surgeries, like procedures on the radius bone or spine, may be eligible. Participants should be able to understand the study and agree to join by signing a consent form. Throughout the trial, patients can expect to receive care that utilizes advanced 3D techniques, and they will be contributing to important research that could shape future surgical practices in healthcare. It’s important to note that those with very complex medical issues that require specialized treatment might not be eligible for this study.
