ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a new type of elastic bandage designed to help prevent swelling and complications after heart surgery, specifically Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG). The researchers want to find out if these customized pressure-guided bandages can be more effective than standard care in reducing swelling in the legs, which can occur after surgery. Participants in the trial will be divided into two groups: one will use the special bandages, while the other will receive regular post-surgery treatment. The study will collect information on swelling and any wound issues at 1, 2, and 4 weeks after the surgery.

To join this study, participants must be at least 18 years old and scheduled for CABG surgery that involves taking a vein from the leg. However, people with certain health conditions, such as severe leg swelling or poor blood flow, cannot participate. If you take part in this trial, you'll be helping to see if these bandages can improve recovery for future patients.
