ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how acupuncture and other integrative medicine treatments can help improve the quality of life for patients who are dealing with the stress and challenges brought on by the ongoing war in Israel. It focuses on patients with cancer and other medical conditions who are currently receiving treatment, either in the hospital or as outpatients. The goal is to see if these treatments can help address issues related to physical and emotional well-being during this difficult time.
To be eligible for the study, participants must be at least 18 years old, have a cancer diagnosis, and be experiencing concerns about their quality of life due to the war. After signing up, patients will be randomly assigned to one of two groups: one group will receive relaxation techniques through acupressure, while the other group will receive both acupressure and acupuncture. Throughout the study, participants will be asked about their experiences and will undergo some measurements to see how the treatments affect their overall well-being. This research aims to provide insights into how these therapies can support patients during such challenging times.
