ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying an online program designed to help family caregivers improve their well-being and resilience. The program, called eCoaching, aims to provide self-help strategies for caregivers who are feeling overwhelmed or stressed. Researchers want to find out if this online support can reduce feelings of anxiety and depression, making caregivers feel better about their situation. They will compare the experiences of caregivers who use the eCoaching program with those who do not, to see if it really makes a difference.
To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and a family caregiver for someone aged 60 or older, providing at least 6 hours of care each week. You should live in Hong Kong and be able to communicate with the program's coaches. It’s important to note that caregivers with serious health issues or conditions like Alzheimer's in the person they care for won’t be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to engage in online sessions that offer guidance and support, which could help you manage the challenges of caregiving better.
