ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how using the Apollo app for patient discharge affects women who are admitted to the maternal and fetal medicine unit. Typically, after a short hospital stay, patients receive a discharge letter when they leave, but with the Apollo app, patients can get their discharge letter right on their phone without having to wait. The trial will compare how satisfied patients are with this new process versus the usual way of getting their discharge information, as well as looking at safety and other discharge data.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be women aged 18 and older who are admitted to the unit with plans to go home before giving birth. They should own a smartphone and be willing to download the Apollo app. Women who deliver during their hospital stay or do not have a smartphone cannot participate. If you join the study, you'll help researchers understand if using the Apollo app makes the discharge process better for patients.
