ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is exploring a new treatment for women suffering from rectocele, a condition where rectal tissue bulges into the back wall of the vagina, leading to issues like difficulty with bowel movements and a feeling of heaviness. The study will use fat injections taken from the patient's own body to see if this approach can help relieve symptoms and prevent the condition from returning. Women between the ages of 18 and 60 who have been diagnosed with mild to moderate rectocele and are experiencing related symptoms may be eligible to participate.

Participants in this trial will receive submucosal fat injections and will be monitored to evaluate how well this treatment works. It's important to note that women who have had previous surgeries for rectocele or have certain other medical conditions will not be able to join the study. The trial is set to take place at Cairo University Hospitals and is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to provide a potential new option for those affected by this condition.
