ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at how using a special robot called Kebbi can help older adults with mild dementia improve their thinking skills, heart health, and emotional well-being. The researchers want to find out if spending time with the Kebbi robot three times a week for 12 weeks can make a difference in these areas compared to a group that just does regular activities. The study will measure progress before, immediately after, and one month after the intervention to see how effective the robot is.

To participate, individuals must be 65 years or older, have mild dementia, and be able to communicate in Mandarin or Taiwanese. They should also have been attending a dementia daycare center for at least three months. Participants in the study will interact with the robot for 30 minutes during each session, and the researchers will also gather feedback about their experiences with the robot. This trial is currently recruiting and aims to determine whether this innovative approach can enhance the quality of life for older adults facing the challenges of dementia.
