ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a pharmacist-led educational program can help patients with pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) and those who are also living with HIV. The main goal is to find out if this program can improve how well patients stick to their treatment plans, lead to better health outcomes, and enhance their overall quality of life. Participants will be divided into two groups: one group will receive counseling and education from a pharmacist about their treatment and the importance of following it, while the other group will receive standard care without the extra support.
To join the study, you need to be at least 18 years old and have a confirmed case of TB. Those who are pregnant or have other medical conditions unrelated to TB will not be eligible. If you decide to participate, you'll be interviewed to see how well you're following your treatment plan, and you’ll receive helpful information and support to improve your health. The study is currently looking for participants, so it could be a great opportunity to get additional help while contributing to important research.
