ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial, called "Precision Medicine for L/GCMN and Melanoma 1," is focused on improving how we understand and treat melanoma, a type of skin cancer, in children, adolescents, and young adults. The main goal is to create a comprehensive database that collects information from young patients with melanoma, which will help researchers analyze survival rates and identify important factors related to the disease. By using advanced technology, such as artificial intelligence, the study aims to adapt existing treatments used for adults to better serve younger patients.

To be eligible for this study, participants must be diagnosed with melanoma and be children, adolescents, or young adults. However, because there is limited data for these younger age groups, the research will initially use information from adult patients (over 18) with confirmed melanoma to help train the models. Participants in this trial can expect to contribute to important research that may lead to better early diagnosis and risk prediction for melanoma in younger populations. It’s also important to note that only data from recent years will be included to ensure the information is relevant and up-to-date.
