ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how hormonal contraceptive use and lifestyle factors, like physical activity and nutrition, affect bone health in young women, specifically female soldiers in the German armed forces. The researchers want to understand if different birth control methods, exercise habits, body composition, and other factors influence the risk of fractures and the overall quality of bones in women aged 18 to 35.
To participate, women need to be active soldiers within that age range and should not have any serious injuries affecting their muscles or bones. Participants will take part in evaluations that measure different aspects of their health, but they can do so using a pseudonym for privacy. This study is currently recruiting participants, and it aims to gather important information that could help improve bone health and reduce fracture risks in young women.
