ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of two different types of exercise on young women who are dealing with obesity. The researchers want to find out how high-intensity interval training (which involves short bursts of intense exercise) compares to moderate-intensity continuous exercise (like a steady-paced workout) in terms of their impact on body fat, certain hormones related to weight, and even the quality of sleep and overall life satisfaction.
To participate, women between the ages of 18 and 45 with a body mass index (BMI) of 30 to 40 are being recruited. However, those with certain medical conditions, like heart or lung issues, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and those on specific medications will not be eligible. Participants can expect to engage in supervised exercise sessions and will have their body measurements and hormone levels monitored throughout the study. This trial aims to provide valuable information that could help improve weight management strategies for women with obesity.
