ClinConnect Summary
The DietCoach study is looking at a new digital platform designed to help dietitians provide better dietary advice to their patients. This platform uses information from patients’ food purchases, collected through loyalty cards, to give insights into their eating habits. The researchers want to understand what features dietitians need from this system, how easy it is for them to use, and how the availability of food purchase data affects their experience. Dietitians from hospitals in German-speaking Switzerland are invited to participate by testing the platform and giving feedback on how well it works for their counseling sessions.
To be eligible for the study, participants must be dietitians who speak German. During the study, each dietitian will work with information from three different patients who have varying amounts of food purchase data. They will try out the DietCoach platform and provide at least one dietary suggestion based on the data they see. Their feedback will help researchers improve the platform and ensure it meets the needs of dietitians in their work.
