ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying whether a treatment called transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) can help improve vision in people who have visual impairment. The main question the researchers want to answer is whether TMS can actually make a difference in how well patients see. To find this out, they will compare patients receiving TMS to a group that will not receive the active treatment.
To participate in this trial, you need to have had cataract surgery or a clear lens, and your best corrected vision should be less than a certain level. Unfortunately, if you have certain conditions like cognitive impairment, certain eye diseases, or a history of seizures, you may not be eligible. Participants will receive TMS treatment or a placebo (an inactive version) for five days and will visit the clinic every two weeks for check-ups and tests. This study is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to gather important information on improving visual outcomes through TMS.
