ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new method for removing teeth called syndesmotomy, which is part of the tooth extraction process. Traditionally, this involves manual tools that can sometimes damage surrounding bone and tissues. The trial is looking at a special device called a piezoelectric surgical tool, which is designed to be more precise and gentler on the tissues, potentially leading to less pain and faster recovery for patients.
To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and have a single-rooted tooth that needs to be extracted, either because it's in bad shape or for orthodontic reasons. You cannot be pregnant, a heavy smoker, or have certain health conditions that could affect healing. If you join, you can expect to undergo this new extraction technique and contribute to research that could improve dental procedures for everyone. The trial has not started recruiting participants yet, so keep an eye out for updates if you're interested!
