ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying the effects of a natural compound called naringenin, found in grapefruit and other citrus fruits, on patients who have broken bones in their lower limbs. The researchers want to see if naringenin can help these patients heal better and faster after orthopedic surgery, as well as reduce inflammation and improve their overall quality of life. The trial aims to recruit participants who are capable of walking independently and have not undergone any major medical issues that could interfere with their recovery.

To be eligible for the study, participants must be scheduled for surgery to repair their lower limb fractures and should not have conditions like liver disease, severe kidney problems, or certain types of cancer. They also need to be able to take the naringenin capsules without any allergic reactions. If you decide to join, you will receive naringenin supplementation as part of your recovery process, and the team will monitor your progress throughout the study. This trial offers a chance to potentially enhance your healing experience after a fracture.
