ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how taking a foot bath might help patients with acute renal failure feel better. Specifically, the study aims to see if foot baths can reduce pain, tiredness, and trouble sleeping in these patients. The researchers believe that foot baths are a simple and safe way to provide comfort without using medications that may have side effects.
To participate in this study, individuals must be over 18 years old, currently hospitalized for acute renal failure, and able to understand Turkish. However, some people won't be eligible—such as those with chronic kidney problems, wounds on their feet, or certain health conditions like high blood pressure. If eligible, participants can expect to take part in foot baths during their hospital stay and share their experiences regarding pain, fatigue, and sleep. This study is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to provide valuable insights into non-drug treatments for patients facing this serious condition.
