ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new device called the "AI Supporter," which is an intelligent robot designed to help manage urinary issues for patients who are bedridden. The robot uses advanced technology to identify and clean areas that may be affected by incontinence, which can lead to urinary tract infections and skin problems. The main goal of this study is to see if using the AI Supporter can reduce the number of urinary tract infections and skin issues in female patients who have been unable to move around for at least three months.
To participate in this trial, women over the age of 20 who have been bedridden and experience urinary or bowel incontinence may be eligible. Participants will use the AI Supporter for a two-week period, and their urine will be tested regularly to monitor any changes. It’s important to note that those with severe skin conditions unrelated to incontinence or current infections will not be able to join the study. This research aims not only to improve patient care but also to lessen the burden on caregivers, making it a significant step forward in managing incontinence.
