ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how to better predict the outcomes of surgery for patients with colorectal cancer. Researchers are developing a model that combines imaging tests and metabolism data to help doctors understand how well a patient's cancer might respond to treatment. This information could assist in creating a more personalized treatment plan for each patient.

To be eligible for this trial, participants should be at least 18 years old, have been diagnosed with a gastrointestinal tumor, and plan to have surgery as recommended by their doctor. They will need to give their consent and agree to a biopsy, which is a procedure to collect tissue from the tumor. Participants can expect to undergo various imaging tests and provide samples for analysis. It's important to note that individuals with certain conditions, such as active cancer spread to other organs or those who are pregnant, cannot participate. This study is currently active but not recruiting new participants at this time.
