ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how a telehealth program can help young children who are receiving early intervention for developmental delays or sensory processing issues. The goal is to see if activities that involve both parents and children, done at home through video sessions, can improve children's ability to see and understand what they see, as well as their posture and movement skills. By using fun play-based activities over six weeks, the trial hopes to enhance children's learning and overall development.
To be eligible, children must be between 3 and 7 years old, currently receiving early treatment, and have caregivers who can support them in completing the home activities. It's important that they have a reliable internet connection for the program. Participants in the trial will be randomly placed in one of two groups: one will start the telehealth program right away, while the other will wait six weeks before starting. Before and after the program, children's progress will be measured through specific tests and feedback from caregivers. This study aims to provide valuable insights into how home-based therapy can benefit children who need extra support.
