ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a special program designed to help improve the bond between mothers and their infants, focusing on how nurses can support this relationship during regular check-ups at Family Health Centers in Turkey. The program aims to teach mothers how to be more sensitive to their baby’s needs, which can lead to a stronger attachment between them. Researchers will compare two groups of mothers with babies aged 9 to 12 months: one group will receive the program with support from nurses, while the other group will receive standard care without the program.
To be eligible for this study, mothers need to have a normally developing baby aged 9 to 12 months and be the primary caregiver. Unfortunately, mothers with infants who have chronic health issues or developmental problems won’t be able to participate. If you join the study, you can expect to participate in several childcare visits where nurses will guide you through the program. There will also be follow-up visits to see how well the program worked. At the end of the study, nurses from the control group will be trained to deliver a shorter version of the program, helping even more families in the future.
