ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how well a special type of CT scan, enhanced by advanced technology, can assess liver conditions in patients with chronic hepatitis B. Specifically, the researchers want to see if this new method can accurately measure fat in the liver and any scarring or damage (known as fibrosis). This could help doctors better understand the health of a patient’s liver and how to treat it effectively.
To participate in this study, individuals must have chronic hepatitis B and a body mass index (BMI) of 23 or higher, and they should not have any other serious liver diseases. Unfortunately, pregnant women and those who have had certain treatments or surgeries related to the liver will not be eligible. The trial is currently not recruiting participants yet, but once it starts, participants can expect to undergo a CT scan and provide important information that could help improve liver disease diagnosis and treatment in the future.
