ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how effective it is to start physical therapy for neck pain earlier in the treatment process for patients who have had a concussion. Normally, patients at the clinic only receive neck rehabilitation after four weeks, but researchers want to see if starting this therapy sooner can help improve symptoms. The trial is currently looking for participants who have been diagnosed with a concussion, are experiencing neck pain or difficulty moving their neck, and are willing to be randomly assigned to either receive the new therapy or continue with standard treatment.
To be eligible, participants need to be between 18 and 62 years old and must be within 8 to 90 days after their injury. They should also be able to speak English. The study aims to identify any challenges in getting patients into this new treatment approach early on, which could potentially lead to better recovery outcomes. If you or someone you know meets these criteria and is interested, this trial could be a valuable opportunity to explore new ways to manage concussion symptoms and neck pain.
