ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying whether a special mobility platform can help improve reaction times and the accuracy of button pressing in children with cerebral palsy. The main question researchers want to answer is if using this mobility platform can support cognitive development in children who have severe disabilities. Children taking part in the study will be divided into two groups: one group will keep doing their usual therapy, while the other group will use the new mobility platform during their sessions.
To participate, children must be under 12 years old, diagnosed with cerebral palsy, and unable to walk independently or use a powered wheelchair. The trial is currently looking for participants who meet these criteria. Children in the control group will work with a video that pauses, requiring them to press a button to continue, while those in the intervention group will use the mobility platform, which moves in response to their button presses. This setup allows researchers to see how each method affects the children’s abilities. If your child qualifies, they might have the chance to help answer important questions about new ways to support kids with cerebral palsy.
