ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how helpful computer technology can be for doctors who perform colonoscopy procedures, specifically when identifying colon polyps. It aims to see if using advanced computer programs—one that learns from lots of data and another that explains its decisions—makes it easier and more accurate for doctors to diagnose these polyps. Additionally, the trial will explore whether doctors become more comfortable with using this technology after they have had some experience with it.
To participate in this trial, doctors who already have experience performing colonoscopies can take part. They will complete surveys about their feelings towards using computer-aided diagnosis and will also take tests to diagnose images of polyps, first without any technology and then again using the computer programs. This study is currently active but not recruiting new participants. Overall, it's an important step toward improving how colon polyps are diagnosed and ensuring that doctors feel confident using new tools in their practice.
