ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how virtual reality exercises can help individuals with Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD). PAD is a condition that affects blood flow to the legs, which can lead to pain and difficulty walking. The study aims to see if these fun, interactive exercises can improve skin temperature in the legs, make arteries more flexible, enhance walking ability, and increase enjoyment of exercise for people with this condition.
To participate in the trial, you need to be between 18 and 65 years old and have been diagnosed with PAD, which means your ankle-brachial index (a test for blood flow) is less than 0.9. However, if you have had any serious heart issues recently, high blood pressure that's not controlled, or other health conditions that could interfere with exercise, you wouldn't be eligible. If you join the study, you'll take part in virtual reality workouts, and researchers will track how these exercises affect your leg health and overall exercise enjoyment. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, so there will be more information available soon for those interested.
