ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how two different types of exercise—Pilates and circuit training—affect women who have gestational hypertension. Gestational hypertension means that a pregnant woman has high blood pressure after 20 weeks of pregnancy. The goal of the study is to see if these exercises can help lower blood pressure and improve overall health for these women.
To participate in the trial, women need to be between 25 and 35 years old, with a body mass index (BMI) between 30 and 34.9, and have been diagnosed with gestational hypertension by their doctor, but without any serious health issues. Unfortunately, women with heart problems, poorly controlled hypertension, or certain other health conditions won't be able to join. If eligible, participants can expect to take part in exercise sessions and help researchers understand how these activities can support their health during pregnancy.
