ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how effective auricular magnet therapy is in treating anorexia in children. Anorexia is a condition where a child may not eat enough or has a poor appetite. In this study, children will be divided into two groups. For the first week, one group will receive the actual auricular magnet therapy, while the other group will receive a fake version that doesn’t have any real effects. After a break of two weeks, the groups will switch treatments. This way, researchers can see if the auricular magnet really helps improve eating behaviors.
To participate in this trial, children should be between 2 to 6 years old and showing signs of anorexia, like feeling full after eating just a little, stomach pain, or not gaining enough weight. They should not have taken any medications to boost their appetite in the two weeks before the trial starts. This study is currently recruiting participants, and it aims to help find new ways to support children struggling with anorexia. Parents will need to provide some basic information about their child before the trial begins.
