ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of music on women who have just given birth by cesarean section (C-section). The researchers want to find out if listening to music can help reduce pain and anxiety during labor, as well as improve the success of breastfeeding. The study is currently looking for women who are having their first baby (primiparous) and have had a live birth through a C-section.
To be eligible for this study, women should not have had any complications during their pregnancy, such as a risky pregnancy or carrying twins, and their newborn should not have certain conditions like cleft lip or cleft palate. If you decide to participate, you can expect to listen to music during your recovery time, and the researchers will monitor how this affects your pain levels, stress, and breastfeeding experience. This trial aims to understand how music might support new mothers during a challenging time.
