ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a type of exercise called High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) affects thinking skills in young adults. Specifically, the researchers want to see if the immediate benefits of this exercise on brain function last over time. They are currently looking for participants aged 18 to 40 years old who are generally healthy and do not have serious vision problems or conditions that could make it unsafe to do high-intensity workouts.
If you decide to participate, you will engage in HIIT sessions and be assessed on how your thinking and decision-making skills change. It's important to note that people with certain neurological or physical health issues, learning disabilities, or problems with drugs and alcohol cannot join the study to ensure everyone's safety. This trial could help us understand more about how exercise impacts our brain, especially in young adults.
