ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new imaging technique that uses ultrasound during robotic surgery to check the status of lymph nodes in women with gynecological cancers, like ovarian, endometrial, and cervical cancers. Understanding whether cancer has spread to the lymph nodes is very important, as it helps doctors decide on the best treatment options. This new approach aims to make the evaluation of lymph nodes easier and more accurate, potentially reducing the need for extensive surgical procedures that can lead to complications.
To participate in this trial, women between the ages of 18 and 99 who are undergoing robotic surgery for gynecological cancers and need to have lymph nodes removed may be eligible. However, those who have had recent chemotherapy or radiotherapy in the area being examined cannot take part. Participants can expect to receive cutting-edge care and contribute to important research that could improve treatments for future patients. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and all involved will need to provide informed consent to join.
