ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of acupressure on pain and anxiety in patients undergoing a specific test called urodynamics, which is used to assess how well the bladder and urethra are working. The researchers want to see if applying gentle pressure to certain points on the body can help reduce discomfort and anxiety during this procedure.
To participate in the trial, you must be at least 18 years old, willing to take part, and able to communicate well. The study will involve two groups: one will receive acupressure before their urodynamics test, while the other group will receive standard care without acupressure. After the procedure, the researchers will check in on how you’re feeling in terms of pain, anxiety, and other important health measures. This trial is currently looking for volunteers, so if you meet the criteria and are interested, you may want to consider participating.
