ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding urinary tract infections (UTIs) in children at Assiut University Children Hospital. Researchers want to learn more about the types of bacteria that cause these infections and how sensitive they are to different antibiotics. This information can help doctors choose the best treatment for children with UTIs.
To participate in this study, children must be between 1 month and 17 years old and have been diagnosed with a urinary tract infection. Unfortunately, newborns and children with chronic kidney diseases won't be eligible, nor will those who choose not to take part. If your child is eligible and decides to join, they will contribute to important research that could improve how UTIs are treated in the future. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, so more information will be shared when it begins.
