ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effectiveness of two different treatments for muscle fatigue in the legs. Specifically, it compares electrical stimulation (using a device that sends gentle electrical currents to the muscles) combined with stretching exercises, to just static stretching (holding a stretch without movement). The goal is to see which method helps improve the flexibility of the ankle and the strength of the leg muscles in young adults who have tightness in the back of their legs.
To participate in this study, you need to be affiliated with or related to the University of Seville and have tight muscles in your legs. However, if you are very active in sports or already have a stretching routine, or if you have certain medical conditions or past injuries, you may not be eligible. If you join, you will receive a session of electrical stimulation and stretching, and then be tested on how well your ankle moves and how strong your muscles are. After the study, you’ll also share how satisfied you were with the experience. The researchers are currently looking for participants, so this is a good opportunity to help advance our understanding of muscle treatments!
