ClinConnect Summary

The Community Support Program for Lung Cancer Screening Volume II is a project based in West Philadelphia aimed at helping people get important lung cancer screenings. The main goal of this program is to see if offering community support can help more individuals keep up with their follow-up screening appointments. The program is focused on people who are part of the Penn Medicine healthcare system and live in Philadelphia, specifically those who have missed a screening or have a screening scheduled but haven’t set up their appointment yet. To make it easier for them, the program offers free transportation to and from their appointments and helps connect them with scheduling staff to finalize their screenings.

To be eligible for this program, participants need to be Philadelphia residents who have an upcoming or missed low-dose CT scan for lung cancer screening. Unfortunately, people who live outside the city limits won't be able to participate. If you join this program, you can expect support to help you make your lung cancer screenings easier and more accessible. This trial is currently looking for participants, and it welcomes people of all ages within the specified range.
