ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a new healthcare approach led by nurses to help women aged 45 to 64 manage various health issues, like hot flashes, urinary problems, anxiety, depression, and more. The goal is to see if this nurse-led support improves how women use medical resources, boosts their confidence in managing their health, and enhances their overall quality of life. Participants will be divided into two groups: one will receive personalized help from nurses, while the other will receive general health advice. Researchers will compare the two groups over several months to find out which approach works better.

To participate, you need to be a woman living in Hong Kong between the ages of 45 and 64 who can read and communicate in Chinese. Unfortunately, women with certain serious health conditions, mental health disorders, or those who are pregnant cannot join. If you take part, you can expect to fill out some questionnaires about your health and receive an educational booklet. The nurse-led group will have specific health services tailored to their needs, while the control group will receive standard advice. Everyone will be followed up at different intervals to assess their health and the effectiveness of the program.
