ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how blood vessels in the brain respond to changes in blood flow. Researchers will use a special type of imaging called magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to see how the brain's blood flow changes when a person changes their posture or breathes in higher levels of carbon dioxide. The goal is to better understand brain circulation, which can help in diagnosing and treating various conditions in the future.
To participate in the study, individuals need to be between the ages of 20 and 40, have a body mass index (BMI) of 34.5 or lower, and should be non-smokers. There are several health conditions that would exclude a person from joining, such as certain neurological disorders, serious heart problems, or diabetes that is not well controlled. If eligible, participants can expect a thorough evaluation, including the MRI tests, to help researchers gather important information while ensuring their safety throughout the study.
