ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the Dresden Falls Questionnaire, a tool that helps assess the risk of falling in patients with Parkinson's disease. The goal is to adapt this questionnaire for Turkish patients and ensure it is both valid (accurate) and reliable (consistent) when used. The study will involve 50 participants with Parkinson’s who will be asked to answer questions during their regular rehabilitation sessions. They will also complete two other questionnaires to help confirm the accuracy of the Dresden Falls Questionnaire.
To participate, individuals need to be between the ages of 65 and 74, have a specific level of Parkinson's disease severity, and have experienced at least one fall in the past year. They should also be able to walk, with or without help. However, those with communication or cognitive issues, unstable medical conditions, or certain speech disorders will not be eligible. Participants can expect to answer questions twice, with a gap of 15 days in between, to check if the questionnaire gives consistent results. This study is currently not recruiting participants.
